The Design And Implementation Of Video Phone Based On SIP Protocol

With the development of Internet and voice technology, VoIP has held a very large part of the communication market recently. It becomes one of the most popular topics in the areas of Tele-communication and Computer Network. SIP is considered as one of the most important protocols in VoIP and the core technology in NGN and 3G, because of its good flexibility, simpleness and extensibility.IP Video Phone transmits the information of video, voice and data over internet. It is an important development direction of the communication technology. SIP is considered to be the standard protocol of network based multimedia communication in the future. It is very convenient to use the soft phone on PC. This Paper describes the design of the soft IP Video Phone Based on SIP.Chapter 1 introduces VoIP technology and the development of domestic and international video phone, and gives the significance of the research work.Chapter 2 introduces the technologies of video phone based on SIP, including the RTP / RTCP protocol, the technology of encode and decode, SIP / SDP protocol, and SIP and H.323 comparison.Chapter 3 presents the architecture of the IP Video Phone based on PC, and introduces the function of the modules.Chapter 4 presents the detail of the design and implementation of the video phone system modules.Chapter 5 discusses the software test of the Video Phone based on SIP, include software framework test and software function test.
