Design And Implementation Of Ad Hoc System Based On AODV And Analysis Of Unidirectional Link

Ad hoc network is different from any other predominant communication systems in the past. The relevant key technology has made great progress through the efforts of several years.Routing technology is an important field in Ad hoc researching. Researchers brought up many routing principles to fit various application scenes. AODV (Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector) routing principle is one of the routing principles recommended by MANET (Mobile Ad hoc Networks) workgroup of IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force). It has gained a large favor of most of the researchers as its simplification, practicability and good performance. But most research organizations still emphasize the theory researching and the simulations at present. Little progress has been taken to push the Ad hoc technology to practical applications.The aim of this thesis is to implement AODV routing mechanism on industrial control board and Linux OS, and build a multi-hop wireless self-organize platform to improve the practicability of the AODV routing principle.Chapter 1 gives brief introduction of Ad hoc network, including its origin, network features, application field and routing principles.Chapter 2 presents detailed description of the working principle of AODV.Chapter 3 analyzes the design idea and implementation scheme. The hardware framework and software modules are brought out based on the characteristics of Linux OS. Then system testing and analysis are also provided.Chapter 4 discuses the unidirectional link in AODV routing mechanism. The cause of the problem and its resolution are presented and analyzed.
