After continuous developing of GSM network in Xinxiang, the quality of signal is increased a lot, and the key performance indexes of network are improved obviously. But there are some natural limits in macrocell system. Cell coverage has its particular characteristic, which can be an effectively supplement of macrocell system. So this paper focuses on the study of cell coverage and its application scenario.Based on the research of cell coverage planning in Xinxiang during the past two years, this thesis mainly summarizes the characteristics, classification and the solutions of cell coverage. Ten different methods for cell covering within ten different situations (i.e. ten practical engineering cases) are also proposed in this paper. Discussions in these cases are mainly concerned with six aspects, including the scenario, signaling, designing, scheme, optimization, and situation applied. The main focuses are on how to design and optimize the coverage, other than the details of project and equipment performance. The benefits from the ten cases also are analyzed in detail. |
