The Design And Implementation Of Mobile Virtual Community Based On WAP MUD

MUD is called Multiple User Dimension (multi-user level), which is the environment for multi-users to participate in by using computer programs. MUD is also known as the Multiple User Domain (Multi-user virtual game space) because of it being used in the development of network games, which can make the exchanges between users more closer to human nature and interesting by games forms. Actually, MUD is a more popular statement, which is a representative all-purpose term for interactive environment. MUD, which was born and is booming on the internet first and then is used on wireless network, is called WAP MUD with the development of WAP technology and growing of internet users.This paper first discusses the popular technology of WAP virtual community based on J2EE, studies the underlying technology of WAP MUD and brings forward a point of view of creating community based on WAP MUD. Compared with the former, the functions for exchanges and entertainment among uses have been greatly improved in virtual community base on WAP MUD.This paper then design and achieve a mobile virtual community based on WAP MUD by studying the two basic components both in object and function part, where users can live and communicate with others by using a variety of functions based on and simulated to real-life.Finally, this paper concludes an independent functional development method under the framework of this community by the unique visit of WAP MUD and develops the first independent functional modules- Daily News Advisory.
