RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a kind of no-touching auto-identification technology. It provides a method of data access which is more safety, more quickly, more efficiently. Mobil-identification, multi-target identification, no-touching identification can be realized. RFID is considered the greatest developing technology that can influence the style of human life deeply in 21 century. In 2003, the largest retailers such as Wal-mart, Carrefour, Metro, had extended the RFID technology in their marketplaces. In the requirements of subject supply chain and retail market, the governments and the organizations of all countries take great interest in RFID, and drive up the applications and developments of RFID actively. In recently, the research and application of RFID are developing in China. The standards of RFID are being established .In the description of ISO/IEC18000-6, a lot of parameters of RFID in 860MHz -960MHz band are described as "In accordance with the local radio regulations". So, it is very important that how to describe the RF parameters such as frequency, power, bandwidth, and the emissions of out-of-band.The project is proposed under this background .The primary tasks are to analyze the existing radio services in the band 860MHz -960MHz, advise the applicable frequency band for RFID in China, make EMC tests of interference between RFID and existing radio services in the same band ,suggest the main RF parameters for RFID frequency regulation. At the first, this paper introduces the RFID technology and the status of RFID standards, describes the principle of RFID. In chapter 4 the physical principle of RFID and the main parameters of air interface are expounded. Chapter 5 arc the background and the process of the EMC test of interference between RFID and the other radio services in the same UHF band, at the end of this chapter the results of the test arc analyzed. Chapter 6 simulates the spectrum character of 860MHz -960MHz RFID signals and summarizes the scheme of the RFID channel regulation. Chapter 7 suggests the main parameters of RFID in the band 860MHz -960MHz according to the results of the EMC tests and the simulations as the reference for the government of radio regulatory.
