Brief Research On Contributions Of Chen Zhensun In Bibliography

The achievement of bibliography was marked in Song Dynasty, occupying very important status on China's ancient bibliography development history. This paper tries to do a research on Chen Zhensun, a prominent master of private bibliography and explanation bibliography. Chen Zhensun, who lived in the South Song Dynasty, was the most famous book collector and one of the most successful catalogue scholar. His books, which came down to us , was fewer, So as the more in-depth research of "Zhizhai Content Explanation "goes, we could gradually make clear Chen Zhensun's thoughts of bibliography and historiography, also had the value on study of it. The paper is divided into five parts totally: The first part is the preface to this paper, it introduces this paper's meaning of selecting this title, history and status in quo study on this subject, method study and the innovation of this paper.The second part mainly discusses the atmosphere of academia, extraction, academia origin and life of Chen Zhensun. Firstly, it narrates the development academia origin, then makes a textual research on his extraction, life and be an official by his books and others.The third part is the core of this paper, strongly introduces Chen Zhensun's "Zhizhai Content Explanation". Firstly, simply introduces the spread and the edition of "Zhizhai Content Explanation", investigates the value and position in academia. Secondly, we could slect out some byelaws, which can represent Chen Zhensun's thoughts and analyse the classify, Compared with those official and private bibliographic books, inclusion and explanation of "Zhizhai Content Explanation", finally, it analyzes and summarizes the writer's understanding of "Zhizhai Content Explanation" and Chen Zhensun's explanation thoughts. Chen Zhensun's achievements are mainly on the explanation, so the writer will put emphasis on explanation to evaluate Chen Zhensun's achievements.The forth part generally tells about the academic values and limitation of Chen Zhensun and his"Zhizhai Content Explanation".The last part makes a conclusion of Chen Zhensun's achievement on bibliography, and comment neutrally on its historical position.
