Lu Feikui is a famous publisher in modern China. When he was young, he had already walked ascend self-educated become just of road by right of assiduous spirit and stubborn willpower. He had once launched a school and a bookshop. He had been the editor of an advanced newspaper. He had been engaged in publishing work in civilization book company and commercial press. He founded China book company in the first year of the republic and it had become one of two biggest publishing companies in modern China. Through long publishing practices and activities, Lu Feikui had accumulated abundant publishing experiences and had formed particular publishing orientations. Just because of his publishing ideas and orientations, China book company could become key figure of publishing industry in modern China and might develop for long even in turbulent times. Now publisher should learn and draw lessons from these orientations to boost the development and prosperity of China's publishing industry.As a publisher, during the time of managing China book company, Lu Feikui committed himself to broadcasting and spreading excellence culture and improving people's character, and exploring multiplex conducting strategies and creating idea of talented person continually. These particular ideas and opinions put up his long-term developing strategy as a publisher. They provided a solid foundation for the development of China book company too. But academic circles' research on LuFeikui isn't thorough and system enough. It doesn't fit for his history position and influence. Based on a comprehensive analysis of Lu Feikui's document and a brief description on his life experience, this thesis explores his publishing thinking from three aspects in order to attract people's attention on studying Lu Feikui and try to provide some lessons for China's publishing industry now. The first part discusses Lu Feikui's publishing thinking of broadcasting and spreading excellence culture from five aspects. And these five aspects are as follows: writing and publishing education books quickly and well, straining heart and mind to write dictionaries, searching and tidying up ancient works carefully, founding magazines with new idea, following close behind age to publish academic book.The second part dissects Lu Feikui's publishing thinking of expanding management methods from five aspects. These five aspects are as follows: investigating following and surmounting mind bravely, adopting diversified investment strategy skillfully, expanding marketing method actively, carrying on book and periodical publicity extensively, always contributing efforts to the reader is a core target.The third part explores Lu Feikui's publishing idea of creating the idea of the development of person with ability from those four aspects: drawing on talented person strongly, training person with ability with all strength, putting forth effort to stabling person with ability, promoting character of promoting ability.Lu Feikui served people and advanced publishing career with outstanding ability and conduct management level. He wrote brilliant chapters in the history of modern China. From the angle of combining theory and practice together, the thesis adopts methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, literature analysis, giving example and contrasting. It makes a lot of practical examples account for problem and develop argumentation. It dicusses Lu Feikui's publishing thinking and practice deeply.
