The scalability and complexity of software development has been improving recent years, the software crisis has become more and more serious, and software reuse, which is developing software using existing components, modules, design and documentation, is considered to be a very effective way to improve efficiency of software development and ease the software crisis, lots of programmers has come to research the component-based software design.Logging system becomes more and more important in software development , a good logging system may not only provide lots of debugging information in the development cycle, but also provided sufficient diagnostic information while using the software. Each software project has its own function requirements for logging systems, but they also have many in common, so it is feasible to design a flexible, reusable logging component.This paper firstly outlines the technology of software reuse, component-based software design and logging system, then made a logging component envisaged, after anglicizing the major requirement of the basic logging system and figure out the data flow by using UML, a good logging component framework with flexible is designed, and finally all the implementation of the logging component prototype is finished for software development to the reuse to shorten the software development cycle, reducing software development costs. After the research In the above , two test cased are provided from the perspective of function and efficiency of the log, and proved the correctness of functional components, practicality.
