Ontology is the key technique that used in semantic web. Since 1990s, ontology has become an important research field in intelligent artificial research area, such as knowledge engineering, natural language processing, knowledge representation, etc. In the recent years, ontology has also become a hot research point in intelligent information integration, information cooperation system, information retrieval, electronic business and knowledge management. The reason of the popularity of ontology is that it provides a sharing and common recognition of the specific domain knowledge to realize the communication between human and machines. There will be many benefits to construct a domain knowledge base by using ontology technique, such as clearly describe the concepts of the fields and relations among them, realize the sharing and reusing of domain knowledge, management and maintenance of domain knowledge base, etc.As the increasing number of ontology and the application demands of cross field information integration, it has been becoming a more and more challenging task that maintaining and reorganizing various ontology to sharing and reusing knowledge. As the development of the network, many applications need to use multi-fields 'information to do combination query, do data analysis, design proposals, and all these need to store and manage multi-fields ontology.In the application that based on ontology, store and manage ontology is an important part. Recently, there are two methods to store ontology, one is using RDBMS, and the other is using Native-XML database (NXD). It is not very good to manage data information of ontology by using NXD, and it is just the management of XML files. By using RDBMS, when the store model is better designed, it will get good result of data-mineing of data-centered ontology.To meet the application needs of multi-ontology, an improved ontology store model called complement store model (CSM) has been brought forward by using RDBMS to store and manage ontology. On the basis of the model, the constructing method of ontology repository has been discussed; it includes the registering of ontology, the merging of ontology repository, the extraction of ontology from ontology repository, and an cross field ontology repository (CFOR) has been constructed by using these methods. A frame of information retrieval based on ontology repository has been brought forward to the knowledge allocation speciality of ontology repository in the CSM, and it improves the reasoner. On the one hand, the inner rule has been separated from the reasioner and becomes an independent extensive rule base; and on the other hand, an extensive computational inference modual has been added into the reasoner. An algorithm has been designed to generate tourism routes, and in the same time designed an experiment of get the routes of the one-day visiting in Wuhan, the results of the experiment show that the reasoner could implement some application of higher level.
