To solve the increasing serious urban traffic problem, the study and application of the Intelligent Transportation System becomes the necessary choice around the world. The Advanced Public Traffic System is one of the key systems of the Intelligent Transportation System, and it is very important to study the functions and Key techniqus of the Intelligent Transportation System. At present, the construction of the urban Public Transportation System of our country is still on the primary stage with lagging behind management and the relatively low informationization level.Considering Advanced Public Traffic System of Guangzhou as the project background, on the deep research and analysis through the requirement of the public traffic, this thesis studies the Advanced Public Traffic System of Guangzhou and also discusses its key techniques.The process of communication , the design and realization of communication protocol are introduced in this paper, design the software of commuicat server.The method put forward in this paper is relatively new and has a high practicality.
