Large steel mills are distributed widely,with a large number of equipments,many kinds of products and complex configuration.The information resource wasn't shared and used very well and wasn't updated in time between those departments,so they were managed difficultly.In today's rapid economic development,company scale and economy capability as well as technique ability are not the most important qualifications of judging company's success in market competition any more.The capability of information application has becomed to the weapon for company to get victory in market competiton.The steel mill has realized automatic controlling manufactory,but the management is manual work all the same,which is not enough. A collected managing system with high automatic level is needed right now.To resolve-the "information detached island" problem of large steel mill,an integrated information managing system for enterprise is constructed in this item.In the system,Office automation,process control,monitoring,data acquiring,production scheduling,equipment management,and so on,are gathered in an entity,which can enormously improve the automatic management of energy sources scheduling for enterprises.The system Supplies the real-time producting information for example several parameters such as valve position,flux,pressure,temperature,and so on. Production scheduling departments can not only access the real-time imformation but also query the historical data to understand the whole producting situation through the system.So the problems can be detected and resolved promptly,which is convenient for commanding and coordinating production.In this paper,the information actuality of several domestic large steel mills are studied,an imformation constructing plan is designed with the actuality of energy sources scheduling center in that steel mill,In addition,how to build network and how to acquire data are discussed particularly.The advantage of OPC technique is discussed compared with traditional controlling system.The characteristics of the Interbus fieldbus are researched,which provides a theoretical basis to realize the energy source scheduling system.Various superior characteristics of the packaged software Wonderware are introduced,focus on the powerful advantage of distributed System centralized management platform(IAS)and the real-time database(Industrial SQL Server)in industrial control area.In order to improve the stability of the network,the system uses industry-popular single-ring topology configuration as main network,and uses computer duplex hot standby technique to design redundant database system.The packaged software Wonderware is used to develop the systemsecondarily,the Intouch is used to configurate the monitoring interface,and the platform IAS is used to deploy the sub-stations in order to connect the database to every monitoring points.The powerful package software Wonderware enables the system to excellently achieve the centralized management of distributed systems,with strong expansion ability for both system and function.
