As information technology, transport and power systems development and increasing demand for storage batteries, DC rectifier and inverter power source as the battery has been widely used in the formation process. The thesis studies SCR Converter System and the issue of digital technology and embedded control, which containing digital trigger controller.Lead-acid battery is widely used because of its outstanding advantages. It has become one of the most important parts of electric vehicles and UPS. Both charge and discharge are important when producing battery. Therefore, a digital trigger and control system is designed in this thesis for rectifier and inverter in Lead-acid battery industry applications.This thesis briefly describes the battery charge and discharge processes in the electrochemical reaction, at the same time analyse a thyristor trigger conditions. Lead-acid batteries charging and discharging devices being as a research object, and in accordance with the needs of the battery charge and discharge environment, we analysising the existing methods and the charge-discharge control technology which can be used according to the actual needs of different voltage or current for artificial control methods and conclude with a general scheme for the system.The design of the system uses the embedded control technology. The main circuit uses three-phase bridge circuit in which the power switch uses thyristor. The control circuit uses Philip chip as the core, through the acquisition phase of the main circuit and other state information. Synchronizasly sampling the signal to the ARM and caculating the phase angle, the main circuit controls thyristor and the time of opening, through two state rectifier and inverter to achieve charge and discharge opertions. And the system monitors the current-voltage of the system which plays a very important role in the protection.The thesis describes the system in detail including both hardware and software. In terms of hardware, we analyse the system circuit design principle, and a main controller .In the software, in addition to the main controller for the uClinux operating system,we use high-speed real-time ARM peripherals controller processing in the trigger controller, and employ PID control algorithm.
