Geological network database constructed by combining the technology of computer network with the technology of database is one of the methods to solve such problems as heterogeneity of data standards,diversity of data formats,and dispersity of data distribution in the management of the geological information.In the dissertation,the infrastructure of the network database of the geological information is implemented by the combination of B/S model with C/S model,where the management and the storage of the basic and unimportant data is implemented by B/S model while the management and the storage of the resultant and important data is implemented by C/S model.Such a method has the ability to guarantee the balance of data amount and the safety of the sensitive data.In the factor of the implementation of the database,the data of geological information is classified into the data of the drillings,the data of the rock core,the data of the rock stratum,the data of the faults and the data of stratum layer.These entities of the database are described by corresponding properties and represented in database by data tables of SQL SERVER 2005.Limits of authority of the database are implemented by the method of Login ID and the method of the role assignment.In B/S model,the web server is implemented by IIS and the exchange of the data between the web server and the database server is implemented by middlewares which are classified into ASP.NET—ADO.NET type and ASP.NET—COM component model—ADO.NET type,the former of which is aimed at the exchange of simple data and the later of which is aimed at the transformation of the file format, the generation of the images and figure,the verification of the validation of the data.In C/S model,the client is fulfilled with Visual C~# in the platform of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 by the technology of component object models and the database engine of ADO.NET,which provides the management and the visualization of the resultant and the important data.The component object models can be reused by the mid wares in the B/S model,which simplifies the development work and ensures the consistency of the formation of the reports and the geological graphs.
