Usually, we use the straight line, smooth curves, flat and smooth surface boundary to describe the image. They are the important Enclidean geometry describing. These geometry describing tools are very useful when we use them to describe abstract graphics and the form of man-made objects, however when we use them to describe some complex natural scenes, these are not in used such as mountain, tree, grass, fire, clouds, waves and so on. They are"Not the normal curve", they are extreme irregular graphics. In order to solve complex problems of graphics generation, fractal tectonic theory come into being. This system simulated shape of the coastline, with the new algorithm based on the fractal tectonic theory, compared and analyzed the result of the coastline simulation by the"midpoint algorithm"and the"golden point minute insert segmentation algorithm", reflected the better performance of algorithm. In addition, the system analyzed, compared and operated the influencing factors of the simulation coastline effect, named"the number of iterations"and"roughness"; calculated the fraction dimensionality based on the influencing factors. This paper discussed the new algorithm of the coastline simulation——"golden point minute insert segmentation algorithmic"under the introduction of the fractal theory with researching the domestic and foreign literature of the coastline fractal. And the paper introduced this algorithmic basic mentality and the core thought; introduced and brought forth this algorithmic function and the running situation.Based on the comparing of the advantage and disadvantage of existing algorithm, this paper introduced a new algorithm named "olden point minute insert segmentation algorithm" ,that's the innovation point of this paper. This algorithm simulates the shape of the coastline more vivider. This algorithm will do some better for the geography.
