With the rapid evolution of navigation system, it has played a more and more important role in military and civil field. The control of navigation system has become a very important strategic matter, so it is indispensable to develop our own navigation system. As navigation system is a systems engineering with huge scope and complicated structure, it is necessary to develop navigation system simulation based on compute simulation technology to evaluate performance of navigation system. The development of SVS depends on professional models and algorithms of several domains, so it is necessary to develop simulation model with reusability and composibility.This thesis makes the general demonstration of navigation system as the application background. To improve the reusability and composability of simulation models, this thesis mainly focuses on doing some research on navigation system service performance simulation based on Simulation Model Portability Standard 2 (SMP2) . The research can be divided into several sections as follows:(1) Based on the research of the analysis tasks of navigation system Service Volume Simulation , we develop Service Volume Simulation facility to evaluate performance of navigation system.(2) Based on the research of models and algorithms which support Service Volume Simulation, the reusability and composability models of Service Volume Simulation of navigation system are designed, developed and integrated based on the integration method of SMP2.(3) The scenario generation methodology based on MDA is proposed. Through an implementation of Service Volume Simulation scenario editor for navigation system, the user can configure models and setting parameters.(4) A simulation analysis tool for simulation data is designed. Through the implementation of Service Volume Simulation analysis system, the user can analyze the output.The research product of this thesis has been applied initially to the navigation system general simulation and has some referential value for similar project. This thesis has some theoretic and practical significance.
