Wireless sensor networks are deployed in the region to monitor a large number of low-cost micro-sensor nodes, Through wireless means more than one form of dance since the organizations network system, Its purpose is to build collaboration, collection and processing of network coverage region perceived target information it sent observers.Future war will be the local war under high-tech conditions, it sets higher demands for engineering support. It uses the traditional manual control point for the current road maintenance and control. It consumes lots of human, material and financial resources in the course of monitoring and maintenance. The traditional means of monitoring needs longer time and error information at the same time. It research wireless sensor networks basic concepts, principles, key technology and application prospects. It researches wireless sensor networks to monitor road maintenance and monitoring, it can judge military target size, velocities and type on the road. According to the movement goal , it may judge road conditions. According to the road problems, it can implement maintenance immediately. Judge to enemy implements road damager saves time than reconnaissance, judgment and engineering determination. If it use wireless sensor network to monitor implementation of the road, we can save time, manpower, save a huge force.However, because of limited laboratory conditions, the road maintenance and monitoring of the wireless sensor network itself to the in-depth study of the theory. Based on these research results, wireless sensor networks can promote the widespread use in engineering support, thereby enhancing the efficiency of engineering support, to win a war under high-tech conditions Bureau to provide reliable technical support.
