The parallel simulation technology for cooperative behavior of organized groups is about the organizational structure of a large-scale entities relations and synergies in virtual environment, it is an important subject of virtual reality technology. In the military field, especially in the phase of military training and war deductions, the research on cooperative behavior of organized groups is more important, how to generate and organize a lot of combat entities in a virtual battlefield related to the authenticity and efficiency of the military training and war deductions. The cooperative behavior of organized groups in large-scale battlefield is an important content of Computer Generated Forces (CGF). With the continuous expansion of the military simulation system and the needs of the joint combat simulation, the research on large-scale combat groups in the parallel simulation has become very important. Domestic CGF system relative to a late start abroad, especially the research on simulation of the large-scale operations groups in the parallel computing environment, domestic almost blank. In this paper, we research on the parallel simulation technology for cooperative behavior of organized group in the large-scale virtual battlefield, against the inadequacies of the domestic CGF systems. The main finished work and the completion of the central research results are as follows.An Ontology-based structure model of organized groups that supported the groups' organizational structure, enhanced the data reusability of groups in a battlefield and supported the data partition very well in the parallel simulation is proposed, for large-scale battlefield in the characteristics of group behavior.The cooperative behavior of organized groups modeling and engineering method are researched, the Unified Task Plan Model is improved, so as to certify the task plan, being able to revise the task plan in accordance with the results of the verification to better support the collaborative task plan of large-scale groups, realized cooperation, hierarchy and synchronization of the groups missions.A parallel simulation frame for cooperative behavior of organized groups based on the parallel computing environment is designed, supporting for the analyses of the scenario data, including the organizational structure, the operational mandate of the task group process of planning etc, parallel to calculating the task of simulation, simplifying the complexity of the simulation and computation.Basing the work above, we implemented a parallel simulation system for the strength of groups in the virtual battlefield, ensuring the correctness of the simulation results, and enhancing the simulation efficiency and speed.
