A Research On Essential Technique Of Command-train Simulation System And Its Applications In CAPF

With the intensifying of the information technique, the combination of Virtual Reality and GIS technology make it possible to achieve virtual simulation. The researches on Digital City, Digital Earth and Virtual Battlefield have developed such a progress that the technology becomes applicable more than theoretical. CAPF command-train simulation system is the visualization simulation system, which applies the Virtual Reality and GIS technology; three-dimensional geographic environment modeling is the basic element and key technique of the simulation system. The technology of Environment modeling and application of the system to command and control in CAPF will be systematically discussed in this paper.The main work stated in this thesis focuses on the following five aspects.First, a framework of CAPF command-train simulation system is presented in this thesis; the system function structure and processing flow is studied. On the basis of the system requirement analysis, the functions and processes of the system are studied. The key technology and the way to realize the system are researched in the dissertation.Second, the technology of 3D terrain-modeling and complex building-modeling are studied, and the match methods of terrain and building are discussed. 3D terrain modeling based on LOD and complex building-modeling based on CSG are mainly studied. The way to make the buildings adapted to terrain can make the matching perfectly.Third, a method to automatically detect and simulate intersections in 3D roads modeling by computer is proposed, and it can adapt to terrain automatically.Fourth, a command-train test system is designed and realized; the key technology of the planning system is analyzed.Final, the current command ways of CAPF are analyzed, and the application modes of CAPF command-train system are discussed.The dissertation offers the summary of the work and the future research content in the end.
