To the aim of the information military, the demand for the topographic intelligence is inadequate to archive joint operations. The topographic intelligence is a data set about characters, properties, military value of entities on the earth's surface or geography phenomenon which is associated closely with military affairs in some clime, sea-area, and airspace.The research of topographic intelligence involves many subjects. In this thesis, we introduced the basis concepts of Geography Information System (GIS), data integration and data warehouse. GIS is the platform for topographic intelligence. Topographic intelligence inherits the theory of geography from it. Data integration is the technology of data processing. It integrates multi-source data into wants. The collection and application of topographic intelligence are the implements of data integration. Data warehouse is the management technology of database, whose kernel is data-cube. The data-cube can make a balance between space and time, and highly improve the efficiency. Topographic intelligence database is a representative of information database.The traffic military intelligence is a sort of topographic intelligence. Data integration for the traffic military intelligence is the main idea of this paper. There are two kinds of integrations: one is the integration in data layer, the other is the integration in application layer.There are two main purposes of the integration in data layer: the production of topographic intelligence and the association of the topographic intelligence and the vector map. The different purposes make the different integrations approaches. The first approach bases on data compounding and data fusion, the "substantializing algorithm" is a specific process using this approach. The second approach is base on data transformation, the "association algorithm" is a specific process using this approach.The purpose of integration in application layer is to find the application mode of topographic intelligence and improve the efficiency of query. The integration constructs the traffic military data as data-cube, and then divides dimensions into sub-layers to calculate and save the views selected by HRU algorithm.The main contributions of this thesis are the collection of topographic intelligence by data integration and the usage of traffic topographic intelligence data-cube. We implement a prototype system of traffic topographic intelligence database. It accomplished the integration of traffic topographic intelligence in data layer. It confirmed the feasibility of research and provided supports for algorithm evaluation.
