The accurate and dynamic measurement for Transmission Error of transmission chain and motion characteristic,it has important meaning in some situations which needs high quality of transmission. According to accurate measurement to the whole transmission chain,make correct and objective evaluation,analyses reason of Transmission Error and gives out the basis for processing of parts and matching and installation. Attaining the result with half effort in the end.In the thesis, some research work, which is aimed to update the FMT system, is introduced on based of analyzing the developing history, the current status and developing trend for instrument home and abroad, especially the theory of the FMT system. The FMT system is one new type transmission error analyzing system in which the theory of pulse signal division and the usage of microcomputer are successfully combined. The project"The update and experiment for FMT system based on the WINDOWS"is to update the FMT system. The peripheral is a embedded micro-control unit (MCU) system. The real-time data displaying communicating with the MCU system by the USB interface and application program that runs in personal computer (PC) completes real-time data acquisition, real-time data processing.(1) The main research contents of this dissertation are shown in the following: introduction measurement theory and mathematical model of Transmission Error; Introduce measuring principle of FMT and introduce one method of use the counting pulse to develop IE measuring system and new method of using the high frequency clock signal to divide the space pulse; Introduce measuring principle of FMT'lower computer and circuit. Analyze the theory of USB interface and design the USB module . Complete the bi-directional data communication between the hardware and the microcomputer. Design the CPLD(Complex Programable Logic Device) processing circuit to preprocess the initial signal in the data acquisition module. The USB module receive orders from PC and using serial communication between MCU to config the acquisition module,and obtain the status of acquisition module.When the FIFO has data after the PC starting acquisition working, upload the data to PC software makes subsequent of data processing by USB bus; Use Visual C++ to develop one IE measuring system mainly including the data acquisition recorder, real time analyzer and frequency domain analyzer; We use the method of VC++ calling MATLAB compile function to realize the fft analysis;Complete three experiments: the simulating experiment, the transmission link experiment with the single-transmission rate and the transmission link experiment with multi-transmission rate. The experiment data and error curve shows the validation of the FMT system.
