The emergence of blog is considered as an unprecedented liberation of discourse power for it provides everyone with an opportunity to be an editor, issue original articles and tell one's own stories. People can public their self-designed e-books, share their own ideas and photos as well as show themselves by creating a blog. Blogs not only brings us a virtual life style but also directly affects our way of communication and interaction, enriches channels of interpersonal transmission, causes adjustments of social connection and makes new internet culture come into being. Blog phenomenon has been analyzed from various perspectives of Communication, Sociology and different cultures: it represents the rise of pop and mass cultures which reflect the life of ordinary people; it follows the thinking style of post-modern culture movement; it transmits information in a way of self-narration, it obeys the market economy system carried out in the field of information transmission; and it realizes the transformation from"giver-centered"to"receiver-centered". From its own subject aspect, Mass Communication, sociology, and cultures and other subjects, blog represents the rise of the grassroots culture and the mass culture, follows the way of thinking of the post-modern culture, spreads information in self-narrating way, scrupulously abides by the market economy system in the field of information dissemination, and realizes the change of spreading process from'spreader-centered'to'receiver-centered'. Then what does blog look like from the perspective of psychology and post-modern psychology to be specific? The internet dissemination by blog, which was born in the space of the post-modern culture, definitely has the temperament of the post-modern culture, naturally bears the spirit of the post-modern culture, and reflects the new characteristics of the culture, that is, interactivity, diversity, obscurity, autonomy and singularity, which makes it proceed from being emotional to being rational; from elite to the mass; from the value appealing for the unification to diversity; from the mass uproar to deep thought; and from the aspire after the truth and nature to the protection of dream, value and meaning.By expressing themselves, the blog authors, who are disseminators with independent thought, have their own sharp-cut behavior and psychological traits. Through the analysis of the Sina blogs, the thesis shows that people usually play the parts that are different from those in their real life. If the blog only goes beyond the regulations that the real world bears on the individuals, then it is not worth our claim. Being considered from the aspect of culture, the meaning of the blog to human beings is not the appreciation of the material wealth and the change of the living environment. What is more important, it provides a more human space, the innermost layer of which is human's new cultural and psychological state, including the blog authors'expectation and belief towards the form of society they are looking forward to, and also briefly sums up the corresponding behavior and standard pattern. Through the action out of these parts, the blog satisfies the individuals'needs for affection, the needs for pressure relief, the needs for self-perfection, the needs for cognition and the needs for belonging. The diversity of role-playing profoundly influences individual being or character-shaping.The blog space which is multi-cultural and value-dimensional is a world flooded with many kinds of heterogeneous factors and filled with paradox and tension: its suppositional characteristics have brought about both creativity and falsity; its exoteric characteristics have accounted for both wide freedom and irregularity model; its interactive characteristics has not only engendered cultural communication but also intensified cultural aggression. The blog, like the rose, prods conversant persons by using the concealed thorns while sending out the delicate fragrance to demonstrate its charm: on the one hand, the blog has recorded and demonstrated the self-individuality; on the other hand, the awakened self-awareness has caused the collapse of the public consciousness; the psychological interaction of network has accelerated the contemporary young people's socialization course, meanwhile, it has led to the conflict between traditional culture and the indulgence of network entertainment; the blog is not only advantageous to the establishment of ordered network culture, but also makes traditional Chinese culture vulnerable to the external multicultural impact.
