HuNan Ta Kung Pao In The Period Of May 4th

This article selected "Ta Kung Pao" in the period of May 4 from 1917 to 1922 as the object of study. During this period the development of the New Culture Movement in full swing, and this period has also become the most active period of Hunan "Ta Kung Pao". Whether Columns ,or content and style are the most impressive . Especially after 1919, because of the new and old thinking in turn, Hunan "Ta Kung Pao" has a lot of changes, and the frequency of improvements and columns transform is the fastest since the founding. At the same time the violent between the old and the new thinking are the most intense, so most of the contents that I quoted are released in 1919-1922 .The thesis divided into seven chapters by the three parts. The three parts are history and staff and business of Hunan"Ta Kung Pao". The focus is on the columns and content. Both of the two are closely related with the New Culture Movement and the social conditions Hunan. The column of Hunan"Ta Kung Pa"is lined with the New Culture Movement and the content (including reviews, news reports, supplements, etc.)also linked with the current situation and New Culture Movement in Hunan province.Each chapter reads as follows:Chapter 1 is the Introdution. It summurized the current state of research of Hunan"Ta Kung Pao", the background of inauguration and the significance of the topic. The second and third chapters are the second part—the staff of Hunan"Ta Kung Pao". The content of the second chapter introduced the background of publication and the circumstances of the newspaper,and the third chapter described the reform in October 1919. Chapters IV and V are the services part,.Chapter IV sub-section of each section to discuss the main elements and characteristics, and chapter V is the aggregate the content of Huna Ta Kung Pao in the period of May 4 in Chapter sixth and seventh belongs to the part of staff. Chapter sixth, introduced several key figures in Editorial and Manager Department, including life, personality characteristics , ideology, and style of writing, and so on. Chapter VII is the relations between Mao Zedong and Hunan "Ta Kung Pao," and the content of his critics which are published in Hunan"Ta Kung Pao", including criticism of the feudal institution of marriage, the autonomy movement in Hunan ,and Li's views about the labor movement, and so on.
