Research On Domain-based Grid Trust Model

Grid security is the essential mechanism in grid computing systems. Grid system consists of various resources, and the resources have more features of dynamic change, geographical dispersion and heterogeneous systems, which make security issues of the grid system much more complex than the network. In order to solve the security issues incurred by the dynamic and uncertainty of grid environment, we introduce the trust mechanism into the access control, it is necessary to evaluate the network behavior of entities in grid computing. Thus, the evaluation of the entities' behavior can reflect his reliability.This dissertation studies how to build trust model for grid computing that the transactions between the entities' in grid environment are based on the trust mechanism in order to improve security and reliability of the grid system. The contributions of this dissertation are as follows:(1)In this dissertation, a new trust calculate model that is based on multi-domains and layered autonomously is presented. This model is used to deal with trust relation with entities in grid environment. The model takes different ways to deal with trust relation in and between domains, the model gets a more accurately way to evaluate the trust relation between entities. Thus, the model can solve the security problem in grid environment more effective.(2) The model chooses the central server that is approved by all nodes in domain as the domain node, and the recommended trust value of domain node is calculated by the neighboring domain nodes. Make duplication to the relation in and between domains stored in the domain node, reducing the hostility nodes attack the domain node as much as possible and preventing the consequence.(3) In this dissertation, a trust autonomously management strategy is presented. That is, the transaction between the nodes in domain is established autonomously that dose not depend on the help of the domain node. So the affairs of domain node could be reduced and the efficiency of grid could be improved.(4) The trust calculate model gives the updating function with the trust value that updating the entities' trust value, the model adds or reduces the trust value in reason, make sure that the entities' action presented by the trust value that is more accurate and reasonable, and the objectivity of the trust value can be improved.(5) Simulating the grid trust model that is based on multi-domains and layered autonomously with improving the GridSim, validating this grid trust model's rationality and feasibility according to the analyzing of the nodes' trust value of successful and failure transactions. The algorithm complexity is also presented.
