Based on the theory of wave propagation in random media, ionospheric effects on radio propagation on satellite-earth paths and the feasibility of controlling the tropospheric communication by acoustic wave have been studied in this dissertation. According to the international reference ionosphere IRI2001 model, the ionosphere plasma data of Xi'an sky are obtained, the statistical temporal characteristics and second-order statistics of pulse signal propagation through the turbulent ionosphere are investigated theoretically and numerically with the data by using temporal moment method and the analytic solution to the two-frequency and two-position mutual coherence function. The mean arrival time, pulse broadening, coherence distance and coherence bandwidth changing with the characteristic parameters of the ionospheric irregularities are all analyzed. Combined the theory of wave propagation in turbulent atmosphere with the principle of acoustic wave, the feasibility of controlling the tropospheric communication by acoustic wave is discussed. In addition, the calculation and comparison of the turbulent atmosphere scintillation indexes are presented with/without the disturbance of the acoustic wave.
