Research On The Technology Of Multiple Trellis Codes Modulation

This paper firstly introduces the development of channel encoding,set foth the technology of the trellis coded modulation (in short TCM), gives the differences between traditional digital telecommunication and TCM telecommunication. Secondly, the system model and the fundermental idea of 2D-TCM encoding are described, followed by introducing 2D-TCM encoding, the principle of mapping, subset partition, trellis-map construction, the rotationally invariant character of TCM and the decode principle of 2D-TCM .Based on the design of multi-dimentional TCM, the rotationally invariant character of multi-dimentional TCM, lattice partition and the construction principle of a multi-constellation are discussed. Subsequently, the paper studies its key technologies and algorithms. Finally, this paper simulates the system of 4D-TCM in an Additive White Gauss channel and presents its SNR-BER curves, the cause of error code brings is searched,redisgest the process of coding, then a system using 4-dimensional TCM and without using 4-dimensional is improved efficiently.
