In this paper the finite-difference time-domain( FDTD) method is used to model and analysis the operational characteristics of multi-antennas on a vehicular platform. The FDTD method is derived from the discretization of the differential form of Maxwell's equations directly in the time domain, and can give insight into the physical processes for electromagnetic field propagation. If the source is defined as a pulse, the system response can be obtained over a wide bandwidth with one FDTD calculation. As a full wave technique method, the FDTD method is very efficient at modeling problems involving multiple sources or ports. The FDTD program can be easy modified when it applied to a transmuted model. Furthermore the geometrical and if material generality of FDTD suggests it might be very suitable for application to the problem research in this paper. The main work of this paper is to achieve the C++ language procedure with the FDTD method for the near/far field calculation of vehicular multi-antennas, and analyze the EMC of multi-antennas systems according to the calculation results. Firstly, the FDTD calculation for near field of wire antenna mounted on electric conductor is studied in detail. The content includes the FDTD method of wire antenna, the absorbing effect of PML and the calculation of couple between antennas. Secondly, the characteristics of vehicular multi-antennas are analyzed quantitatively with the calculation results and some useful conclusions were gotten. Finally, the analysis software of EMC of vehicular multiple antennae system is developed, which is based on the thought of Object-Oriented Programming.
