| In recent years, the new media grows rapidly in China And it became an important development direction of almost all media groups.But the definition of New Media varies from each other. This article gives a certain definition of New Media by specifying conceptions of New Media.The new media in this article is a media form based on computer information processing technology, and it take digitization, interaction and personalized dissemination as its character.The new media presents many new characteristics, particularly long-tail economic phenomena ,which appears frequently. Under the long-tail economy's background, the New media operation faces the following three main problems: how to maintain inexpensive large scale production, how could the consumer find the production produced by New Media and how to expand customers.The author believes that three characters: customers participation, interactive and the individuation dissemination which are always promoted by New media are actually precisely the methods new media organizations use in order to solve three big operation problems and to realize the commercial profit.Democracy and audiences independent presented by the new media is actually only imagination. They are still under control of the commercial principle. And this kind of control has not been weaken, but strengthen instead because of the participation of the new media technology's. |
