Laser communication is the way that takes the laser as the carrier to transmiss the signal, modulates the video signal to the light wave, then transmisses the sigal to the receiver by the medium(atmosphere or optical cable). On the receiver, it demodulates the signal to the original sigal. Laser communication has the advantage of the big information content, many transmission ways, strong directivity, good secrecy and so on.This paper simply introduces the transmission system in laser communication between satellite and plane. It emphatically introduces wavelet transformation theory, design of video transmission system and some chips' performance index. Then design the system that takes the DSP-TMS320C6201 produced by IT company corp as the core chip, assistanting the video encode chip ADV611 based on wavelet transformation and vedio transformation chip SAA7111. The system has the advantage of powerful processing capacity, flexible install, widespread application fields and so on. The paper first introduces laser communication development condition, the necessity of video processing and code standard. Then introduces the system design, mphatically introduces the realization of the system, electric light modulation At last, simply introduces the system debugging, analysis result.The experimental result indicated that the system basically can achieve the anticipated effect Laser can transmiss no distort. It can realize the high quality laser communication.
