The Application And Research Of Mobile Agent On Distributed Database Query

As the growth and heterogeneity of network, it is difficult to manage information resources from Internet . Now researchers are trying to utilize Mobile Agent technology to solve the problems of information searching on the Internet.Mobile Agent technology is a new kind of technology of distributed computation.It is a combination of distributed technique and agent technique. Mobile Agent involves many technology domains such as distributed systems under the Internet environment,and has great application perspectives and advantages for its characteristic of moving, autonomy and collaboration.This paper designs an application model of distributed database query system on the basis of Mobile Agent application development method. First it studies the distributed database query and other distributed data query realization technologies, analyzes its deficiency ,then through researching the background,system structure and essential technology of the mobile agent technology combined with the distributed data query in theory, also it analyzes the problem and provides the solution for distributed information retrieval using Mobile Agent. Finally all of the research and design are presented in the student grade database query system. It proves that the model is feasible and it has obvious superority in the aspect of supporting interrupted computation and network compatibility.
