This thesis is mainly concerned about the improvement of the precision of the power control and the stand-by time at the mobile station. The whole research focuses on the Power Calibration and the Channel Plainness Calibration using the principle of the CDMA mobile station power control. Two parts are included:1 At the side of the Power Calibration, two algorithms are studied, Piecewise Linear Interpolation Algorithm and Iterative Measurement Power Algorithm. By theoretically and experimentally studying on those two algorithms, some advantages of the first one are found, such as the faster measurement speed which is quite suitable for engineering where the better algorithm will make contribution to the decrease of the production cost and the increase of the productivity.2 At the side of the Channel Plainness Calibration, the problem of the channel plainness in a calibration system is studied. By inserting a so-called "calibration factor" in the algorithm, the channel plainness problem caused by system error in engineering use is solved.
