With rapid development of Electronic Commerce, the requirement of the adaptability of the E-Commerce should be increased more. And only by applying new skills, not only the adaptability of the website can not be improved, but also the complexity will be increased. Now how to find a new extensible design pattern has become an important topic for research.MVC (Model-View-Controller) is a pattern about software design. It divides the software system into three parts of model, view and controller. By specific definition on distribution and collaboration among the three parts, the coupling of the modules can be decreased. The expansibility of the system will also be strengthened.By applying the pattern of MVC into the area of adaptive website, a new model can be achieved. This model divides the whole system into three parts which correspond with the three levels in MVC. The interfaces and the methods of message transferring are defined detailedly, also including the functions inside every module. This model is effective and with great expansibility.Concerning with the technique of mining for user access patterns, based on the current model, the method of allocating different weight to records in different period is practical. It is proper that the later records should be given greater weight because they can reflect the current custom of the user more accurately. Also by using the new conception of the base of web components, the performance of combination for customized product information can be improved without hurting the adaptability of the model. With the popularly used technique of J2EE, the model is proved to be feasible in implementation of both business and techniques.
