| The technology of target tracking has wide applications in both military and civil areas. Tracking and localization of moving target based on wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a hotspot information technology. One of the research kernels is how to use the network energy efficiently while promising the tracking accuracy of moving target.In this dissertation, the tracked targets of the WSN are vehicle or other moving targets in plain war-field. Current research of target tracking and network topology control based on WSN are studied, on basis of which target tracking oriented topology control algorithm and target tracking algorithm based on WSN are the research objects here. Major contributions of this dissertation are as follows:(1) Network lifetime and cell lifetime concepts for target tracking oriented WSN are brought up, and an architecture of target tracking oriented WSN is proposed.(2) Aiming at the demands of target tracking oriented WSN topology control, GAF topology control algorithm is improved by three aspects, including virtual cells division, sensor nodes' roles assignment and cluster heads' selection.(3) The event-driven distributed predict target tracking algorithm is energy-consuming. Three improvements are made to cut the usage of energy down—usage of cluster head, network method for checking moving targets in monitor area, and sleep strategy of sensor nodes.(4) Simulations of node position, topology control and single target tracking are taken, The experiment results show that this dissertation's method can not only insure the accuracy of target tracking but also save system's energy. |
