In order to develop our country's road traffic career, it is essential to carry out the traffic survey work systemic and planedly.The traffic survey includes the volume of traffic, driving speed, density, traffic accident, OD investigation, traffic flux investigation and so on. The different goal counterparts different method. But by the existing investigation method, most investigations need to use lots of manpower and resource and the survey method is unadvanced. All these cause the shortcoming of heavy later period data ordering and analysis work and so on..To adapt the modern research and the need to developing, one new data acquisition and the processing system is necessay.This article,on foundation of system analysis of many kind of traffic survey and analysis method, proposes the design of portable traffic survey equipment using the monolithic integrated circuit; realizes the communication between monolithic integrated circuit and the PC machine; designs machine software to organize and analyse the data which is gathered and can realize graphic display; also may establish database storeing datum to facilitate the study in later period. The software contains the method of using multi-path assignment backward iteration to deduce OD matrix, deduce the OD matrix through the traffic flux and gives the analysis result and the basic suggestion.Through simulation, the backward deduce result tallies the real situation basically.
