Research On A Interface Voice Group Call Service Testing Of China Railway GSM-R Network

Voice Group Call Service (VGCS) is a kind of communication dispatching method which is widely used into railway Marshalling stations and Hub stations , it is also one of the special services of GSM-R. The Quality of VGCS have strong relationship to the safety and reliability of railway dispatching communication. The Research on VGCS in the world is mainly based on A interface. The key points include the test methods and test cases of VGCS, while the interoperability among different corporation's equipments is the difficulty. So, based on A interface interoperability test among different GSM-R network equipment suppliers, this paper deeply investigates the testing of A interface VGCS. First, a complete test suite and minimum test suite of VGCS which get a good balance between testing efficiency and testing coverage is proposed by using equivalent class method. Then, pointing to the disadvantage caused by the blank points of A interface VGCS protocols, this paper deeply researches on the setting up procedure of VGCS and proposes an improvement scheme. Meanwhile, an optimization scheme for emergency VGCS fast establishment is proposed, which has good feasibility .These research can basically eliminate the potential obstacle for interoperability. At last, this paper discusses the VGCS performance test scheme focused on the test methods and evaluation targets, which can enhance the safety and reliability of railway dispatching service.
