Now, with the development of computer technology, communications technology and network technology, video conferencing is being applied more widely. Video conference's service quality and agility will affect the effectiveness of many affairs. Research on how to manage video conferencing system to enable it to work efficiently will become increasingly important.This paper is based on research in the video conference management system. It introduces the basic knowledge and key technologies of video conferencing, and does an in-depth research on the architecture of video conferencing. It also introduces media topology and control Topology, analyzes and compares the advantages and disadvantages of centralized and distributed control topology, as well as centralized media topology, distributed topology and multicast media topology. Besides, the architecture design of Bank of China Network Video Conference System is discussed from the perspective of its logical structure and physical structure and the basic processes of video conferencing is introduced, and on this basis the video conferencing management system design and development has been done in-depth studies.This paper thoroughly introduces the functions of video conferencing management system. On this basis, it discusses the designs of the video conferencing management system, analyzes the role of system users of the system and structure of the system. Using structured analysis and design method, this paper introduces the main business processes of video conferencing system, and establishes system functional model. Moreover, it gives a main-function structure design of the video conferencing management system. In database areas, it uses the E-R model to complete the design of database logical design and physical design. Operating the database by Pear DB, the system could make background database smoothly migrate to other types of databases. In addition, in this paper, the function of conveying the message to the participants through the two forms of Email and SMS in video conference is detailed and realized.The final part gives a summary of this paper's research content and conclusion, and also the prospect of further research work.
