The distribute monitor system is a researching hotspot of computer application realm. Basing on the analyzing of the traditional monitor system, This paper designed and implemented the maintainable, extendable and credible distribute remote monitoring system of the underground water resource, which is composed of two parts, one is the information collection system of the embedded terminal which runs on the ARM processor and Linux operation system, the other is the server system which runs on the C/S/S model.The service of the distribute monitor system is composed of three model, monitor terminal of the user, application servers and database server. The database server is used to store and backup data information; the monitor terminal of user have the friendly operating interface which is accessing the database service and the application system to get service; the application service is made up of the COM+ module, which can advantage expansibility and robust to the system.The embedded terminal system is implemented with the ARM9 processor and running Linux 2.4 operating system. The embedded system has open interface, collecting data information of picture and other simulation information, then send the data to the service of the distribute monitor system. The embedded terminal system communicates the service by the GPRS networks, the application service can remote update the embedded terminal system and boosting up the expansibility of it. The communicate data format use XML protocol, using IPSec protocol to encrypt the data, and ensuring the safety of it. Among the embedded terminal system can communicate too. They communicated by the TCP/IP protocol in order to sharing the some devices.The system can reduces the cost and labor intensity of engineering and technical stuffs, improves the work efficiency, and reduces the management investment.
