In recent years, along with the development of key technique such as wireless network and video compression coding technique, the demand of digital imagination transmission is greater than ever.As we know, the transmission of video will occupy more net resources, so we should compress the video before transmission.H.264/AVC was jointly developed by ITU_T Video Coding Experts Group and ISO/IEC Motion Picture Expert Group, H.264 is a new video compression standard, has the characteristics of strong network adaptability and high coding efficiency, improves makes the sport image compression techniques to a higher stage . It can real-timely transmit high quality video flow at a low bit rate in the different network.In this paper, we combine the H.264 video compression standard with CDMA mobile wireless network; realize a wireless video transmission system. In this paper, several points are focused, which are listed below:1. Firstly, establish a system hardware transmission platform. Design PCB adopting MG815 module of ZTE, program corresponding hardware drivers and realize the PPP protocol.2. Secondly, design transmission strategy and select transport protocol. We adopt and realize UDP protocol in our system.In order to detecte packet loss, wrong sequence information in the process of transmission; we design a packet head for each packet referring to the RTP protocol.3. We propose a congestion control strategy based on loss interval.The strategy use loss interval instead of loss ratio, react more timely on the network congestion, and therefore gain better results.4. Control the image quality decline due to the transmission error and packet loss. Combine with congestion control, propose a loss retransmission strategy based on weightiness of packet, and reduce the needful retransmit data.
