The System Of Analysis And Data Mining In Teaching Quality Evaluation Data

Today higher education is more popular in china, and the teaching evaluation becomes more important in education evaluation. It is not only the main body and basis of education evaluation, but also the essential link during the teaching.Implementing the teaching evaluation can make the guiding ideology on teaching clear, change education concept. It prompts all of levels leader of school to pay attention to teaching work, enlarge the invest of teaching, and improve the condition of running a school. It impels the reform of the curriculum, the personnel training pattern, and the content of courses. It makes the school to reinforce teaching staff building, innovate the college teaching management system.But now the teaching quality evaluation system has some problems. We have accumulated large amount of data, but data handling stays in a junior stage, the data can't take the effect that it should take. How to ascertain the objectivity of the results, effectively use the data, and instruct teaching have became more and more important.This paper applies data mining to teaching evaluation system based on higher education's demand, It applies data mining to teaching evaluation system. It researches the system framework and function of the existed system; at the same time it designs the framework of evaluation system, which uses data mining. A database designing frame for teaching and analyzing based on the teaching quality evaluation is raised in the paper. Based on Windows,, It integrates teaching evaluation system (Delphi) and setting of analyzing software (SPSS) and mining data software (WeKa), builds a teaching quality evaluation integral system of management, analyses and mining.This paper studies and analyzes the realizing progress of data mining system in teaching quality appreciation. It advises a new model of analyzing and mining in teaching quality appreciation. It carries out analysis on the index affecting teaching quality by partial correlation and factor analysis. Then using linear regression technology it finds value index pattern from the results, and gets the main index.According to the project, we accomplish the Data Mining Process to analyze the data of the Computer Institute of Taiyuan University of Science and Technology. The process includes making sure the Data Mining target, collecting the data, preprocessing data, analyzing on the index affecting teaching quality by partial correlation and factor analysis of SPSS, using linear regression technology of WeKa finds value index pattern from the results, and gets the main index, last using the system of JSP+Weblogic+Oracle to carry out the information feedback. Teachers can verify impersonally their evaluation results of teaching quality based on the index pattern, and they may gets teaching suggestion, so improve the teaching quality. The experiment shows that the model can successfully build the main index, and has a good performance, beneficial for the teaching quality.
