Application Of Electro-Optical Countermeasure In Sea-crossing Landing Operation

Sea-crossing landing operation is the most complex and difficult style in the joint operation of army, navy and air force. With a mass of applications of electro-optical weapons in modern warfare, electro-optical countermeasure will go through the whole process of sea-crossing landing operation, and become the key factor of affecting whether the operation will win or not.Based on the outstanding action of electro-optical countermeasure techniques in modern warfare, considering the victory need of Tai Wan affairs in the future, it is obviously significant to carry out the application research of electro-optical countermeasure techniques in the sea-crossing landing operation according to the military theory, which will promote the development of military theory of sea-crossing landing operation and instruct the real warfare of Tai Wan affairs in the future.Under the holistic background of sea-crossing landing operation, firstly we introduce the working mechanisms of main electro-optical countermeasure techniques which usually utilize in sea-crossing landing operation, including electro-optical reconnaissance, electro-optical warning, electro-optical jamming and laser dizzying (or blinding) technology. Secondly, the tactical requirements of electro-optical countermeasure techniques are analyzed according to the tactical thoughts and chief stages of sea-crossing landing operation. From the point of view of tactical application, the laser jamming technology to the reconnaissance imaging satellites in concentration loading stage, the infrared stealth technology of warships and defense missile attacks in sea-crossing stage, conceal measures in mount sudden attack stage and laser dizzying (or blinding) technology in beach landing stage are researched in terms of the concrete application conditions in operation and traits of electro-optical countermeasure techniques, and the problems need to be paid more attentions to in tactical application are also discussed.Finally, the developing trend of electro-optical countermeasure strategies and equipments and military theory of sea-crossing landing operation are analyzed and concluded, according to the actuality of the electro-optical equipments of PLA.
