File system affect the I/O ability of computer deeply and is expanding from framework host to cluster accompanying progress of technology in network storage, also, it is important in the applications.Based on analysis about network storage technology, this paper propose the architecture of cluster file system based on SAN environment and Linux - SANFS and it's key technology, such as lock manager, cache, QoS(quality of service). For avoiding the bottleneck from network and resource on the host, SANFS adopt separate accessing of stream of meta data and file data. The result of test shows SANFS on Linux have achieved good I/O performance.Studying data high availability and scalability of cluster file system is content of this paper. Dynamic mirror model of SANFS designed in this paper utilize the Mirror Arithmetic to provide the availability for cluster storage with running service, and it's arithmetic about selection of I/O path make full use of performance of every storage node. Based the extending capability of SANFS, this paper studies and designs load balance strategy enlarge the concurrency of accessing the storage device with the applications varying.
