With the community's growing demand for professionals, colleges and universities must bring up more graduates who understand theory and familiar with practice. Therefore, colleges and universities attach great importance to the construction of college training base and projects environment. They require their engineering environment close to the actual project, and also reflect the current direction of the development of new technologies. With economic globalization and the rapid development of information technology, modern logistics industry is widely rising worldwide. As people become deeply understand the value of logistics, manufacturing logistics was more and more recognized by industry and become a hot research.This thesis based on the current manufacturing logistics and automation development trend, designed the storage station and transmission station on the basis of the existing MPS system, extended the system function, and composed a set of manufacturing logistic system which has both processing functions and logistics system characteristics for experimental teaching and research using. Storage station and transmission station used three-dimensional warehouse and conveyor two typical logistics system equipment. In this thesis, we provided design and hardware selection of these two stations. Besides Siemens S7-300 PLC and LOGO, control system used currently popular technology of PC-based control. We used WinAC soft-PLC to take on data processing tasks and analyzed the structure of industrial communication network, choice PROFIBUS-DP to buildup the control network. We also researched hardware composing of control system and configuration plan of communication network, presented steps of configuring hardware and network, and methods of programming user program by using STEP 7 software, and finally introduced process of configuring upper computer by using WinCC configuration software.
