Online measurement of the oil-gas-water multiphase flow has been widespread concerned. The crude oil from many oilfields in China contains a lot of water. The water fraction may be over 80%. With the growing of world's energy problem, it is still valuable to exploit of such oilfields. So the research on measurement technology of oil-gas-water multiphase flow with high water cut has large significances on practice and theory.This paper outlines the research progress of oil-gas-water multiphase flow, sums up the techniques and methods of multi-phase flow measurement. For high-water fraction of oil-gas-water multiphase flow measurement, an excellent measurement equipment, which is based on impedance technology, ultrasound technology and electromagnetic technology, is present. The equipment has the virtue of low cost, simple structure, non-radioactive, non-moving components, secure and reliable.The principle model of complex impedance in multiphase flow had been presented. The complex impedance measuring module including its pipeline sensors and the electronic circuit with AD5933 had been designed and produced. Then static test to measure the water fraction had been done, and analysis was finished.The prototype of MCM(Main Control Module) based on the NXP's ARM7 chip LPC2368 and its software had been developed. The ultrasonic measuring module and its pipeline were designed in this paper.The contributions of the paper may be as a reference for developing a multiphase flowmeter.
