The oil-gas-water three-phase flow has a wide range of application in petroleum industry. But it is very difficult to develop multiphase flowmeters due to the complexity of flow regimes and inconstancy of flow composition at flowing conditions, thus far there are few practicable multiphase flowmeters available.This dissertation mainly studies on the measurement of oil-gas-water three-phase flow. It presents an excellent measurement method based on the ultrasonic sensor, capacitance sensor and RF (radio freqency) sensor, after investigation and comparison of different measure methods.The main contributions of dissertation are as follows,1. An overview is made on the development and significance of the measurement technology of oil-gas-water three-phase flow, present a new measurement method after analyzing the defects of many other technic.2. Based on the principle of vernier caliper, it introduces the technology of time scale amplifying, and provides a practicable method, which is used to amplify the short time interval to be measured, and the scale can be changed automatically. This method has some advantages such as simple structure and high resolution, and be used to measure the time interval of ultrasonic sencor.3. ARM processor has been builted in the ultrasonic module, capacitance module and RF module, so these modules can change the measurement range automatically.4. The performances of several designed modules are tested. The formulae of the capacitance module and RF module are attained after analyzing the experimental result.5. This dissertation offers a reference for further developing practical multiphase flowmeters of non-radioactivity pollution, low press loss andnon-moving components.
