The high speed railway cars depot is a large-scale integration maintenance center or base of the high-speed passenger railway vehicle (cars). Its main function is checking, repairing, vehicle alteration, testing, heavy repairing and providing technology support for those running trains and so on. The main operation system consists of in-house running operation superintending system, production scheme system, production management system, equipments management system and task scheme management system and etc. Foreign practices prove that possessing synthesis functions and advanced technology cars maintenance management information system is essential for safe and high efficiency cars. For Chinese passenger railway's characteristics that high beginning and integrating several kinds of foreign technologies, especially adopting multi-countries' differ sorts of cars, our nation's cars maintenance management information system will be very complicated. It not only attach importance to perfect the framework but also pay attention to tracking new technology's development and application furthermore bring forward advanced and rational information framework or integration project.The high speed railway cars depot examining and repairing management information system is an important part of the operation information system. Through tailing cars' running information at the same time synthesis disposing the in-house equipments and management information, on the basis of operation criterion, it provides operation information management for the cars maintenance. Because the cars-maintenance operation flow is a complicated net-information current organization process, it is very important for improving the operation efficiency and ensuring the high-efficiency, safe running that adopting advanced system model, technology and founding the cars maintenance management information system.The thesis is based on the Ministry of Railways project: "Design Standard Study of Railway Cars Depot or Place Information System Engineering". Through taking part in the practice of scientific research work, I select the topic that "Model and Method of High Speed Railway Cars Depot Maintenance Management Information System Based on Workflow Petri Net Technology".Firstly, the thesis systematically analyzes the running and maintenance characteristic of high speed railway cars, foreign maintenance system and method, the function framework and the maintenance operation flow of Chinese cars maintenance management information system. Then introduces the theory and the method of workflow Petri-net technology that is an advanced technology to develop information system and discusses the hierarchy workflow Petri-net modeling and application technology of complicated workflow and dynamic workflow modeling at the same time discusses the analysis and evaluation method of workflow Petri-net model. On the basis of these, deeply studies the cars depot maintenance management information system model and evaluation that based on workflow Petri-net technology, through designing the operation-flow of cars depot maintenance system, offering and forming the Petri-net model of cars depot maintenance system's main flow and repairing scheme-making sub-process, making use of the valuation and analysis method of workflow Petri-net technology, from the two aspects of correctness and timeliness, analyzes the workflow Petri-net model and proving the correctness and the feasibility of the model. The research way and the conclusion of the thesis provides the basis for process-defining and process-optimizing in designing the actual workflow management system and reduces the complicacy of subsequent work.
