Research And Implementation Of Enterprise Web Reports

At present a great number of Web Reports Systems are facing the challenges such as reports flexibility, ease of use, efficiency, data consistency and so forth. Some information system to some extent doesn't have any flexibility, being not able to meet the demands of users. There are also some flexible systems which however, are at the cost of the complexity and profession of reports designing process and also doesn't have nice efficiency or data consistency. Therefore in this situation, Web Reports System needs urgent innovation and establishing a flexible, easy-to-use, efficient and data consistency reports system has been becoming a objective requirements.This paper sums up several current typical solutions of Web Reports System, studies principles, finds out their advantages and disadvantages and absorbs the good points of each solution. After a full understanding of the needs of users, this paper gives the design of the workflow, system functions, user case and data model which provide the final realization with direction and supports.System is divided into five modules, which are templates creating module, template data exchanging module, reports sending module, reports generation module and reports submitting module. The important ones are as follows:First, templates creating module: Raising the solution which makes the form design independent of the model semantic association, thus greatly improving the design flexibility.Second, data exchanging module: With the thoughts of data-summarizing and computer large computing, this module establishes a number of SQL model, thus realizing the semantic association and solving the reports designing problems.Third, Reports submitting module: Using data examination, for only the correct data is allowed to be finally submitted to the database.In addition, the paper also introduces the concept of depart system, effectively solving the problem of data consistency.The solution of this paper has been put into an enterprise application and achieved good results, greatly improving the efficiency of the office works.
