SMS has become a communication way of people, because its communication charges is vary cheap and it can save information as long as you want.More and more companys use sms to reach different purpose, such as informing staffs, sending support information to customers. And SMS platform become popular.A company needed improve sms platform performance because of increasing market share. Its purpose was that the number of sended sms is from 100,000/h to 200,000/h.And used as little money as you can to reach the purpose. That meaned you should buy as less new server as you can. First, simulate the SMS platform model, run simulation model, analysis report, find a method to improve SMS platform performance which only need to change traversed path. Then according to proposal and function of the system, develop a new channel subsystem. The main content of this paper is as follows:Analysis the basic protocol of system implementation and simulation:CMPP protocol and EMPP protocol.Analysis their communication process, communication format and communication capacity.Collect running system data.Acorrding to SMS platform model and data, building a simulation model, runing simulation model, analysis runed report, proposing a method to reach system performance requirement which only need to change traversed path, authenticating the proposal.According to proposal and function, implement a new channel subsystem. This new channel subsystem can easily adapt to changing business and run fast. This paper combined system simulation analysis and software development thinking to develop a new channel subsystem which meeted performance and function requirement. The way to solve traffic problems of this software system can be extended to the same type of problem.
