Design And Implementation Of A Network Test System Based On J2EE

The traditional test takes handwriting mode primarily and leads to the higher cost, lower efficiency. With the kind of test type increasing and the test requirement improving, as well as the test population increasing, the teaching load is more and more heavier.Therefore, the demand for realizing networking and automated test system is urgent. Using the network test mode, the students may break through the limitation of traditional education resources and education method without the restraint of time and space. At the same time, it can reduce the burden of teachers, enhance the teaching efficiency and the quality, strengthens the security in the test process, analyzes the test data quickly, etc. So, the research in the area has the important theoretical and the practical significance.The existing network test system also has some problems: The question type are quite few; Installation and use is complex; In system, page logic, business logic and data logic are combined in same place with the high coupling, the low reusability and maintainability, the poor scalability; When the massive examinees take an examination simultaneously, the system page speed of response is very slow, etc. In view of these questions, a network test system which uses the B/S architecture with the advantage of convenient installation and use has been designed and implemented in this paper. The J2EE architecture and the Struts framework combined with the Hibernate framework are used to realize the MVC design pattern which contributes to divide the application system into the page logic, the business logic and the data logic, contributes to achieve the loose coupling in the structure, contributes to improve reusability and maintainability, scalability. Meantime, using the Ajax technology can lighten the server burden and realize dynamic renewal page and real-time response function in the process of test. The developed network test system had been used in some test, and better meet the requirement of various disciplines and test type.This paper describes the process of design and implementation of the network examination system in details. It consists of five sections: Section 1 introduces the background and main research content of this topic etc. Section 2 researches on the correlative theory and technology of system .Section 3 describes the requirement analysis, the function division and the design of the system. Section 4 uses a sub -system of candidate's test to show how to apply Struts framework and Hibernate framework and Ajax technology in application. Section 5 summarizes the research work about the topic and point out the further improvement direction.
