Under the push of electric market demand, several domestic large-scale boiler producers successively developed the new stove type of a batch of 600MW grades boiler. At the same time, the board girder is getting huge with the grade improving of boiler, which brings board girder's design, manufacture, transport and construction a series of new subject.Nowadays those domestic large-scale boiler producers design the board girder by the soft exploit by themselves. Under this circumstance this paper has studied some problems in the process of exploiting the soft. This paper exploited the soft successfully and gives a tool to design the board girder.The main work of this paper is as follows:Four kinds of element i.e. beam element, shell element eight nodes solid element and twenty nodes solid element are used respectively and the results are compared. Eight nodes solid element is better than others considering both precision and calculating time.Introduce some corresponding theory of the isoparametric element; make the basis of the programming.Program the finite element soft with the method of oriented objection.Introduce the applying method of the soft and compare the result of compute by ANSYS.
