Collaborative scene editing system has become a hot spot in field research of CSCW. It can support highly parallel collaborative editing for Multi-user. How to ensure data consistency and resolve conflicts of concurrent work is a key issue for collaborative editing system scene. This thesis first introduces the issues related to collaborative editing scenes and lists species of existing CSCW systems and applications. Then it studies the basic system architecture of collaborative editing system and traditional concurrency control methods, including their advantages and disadvantages. In reality, some problems need to be resolved: the system structure not flexible, the range of system too narrow and ability of concurrency control to resolve conflicts not strong enough. Combining with "virtual battlefield demo" work practice of five-assembly pre-research fund project, these issues are researched. The main work is as follows:On the basis of architecture research on a variety of CSCW systems, with characteristics of collaborative scene editing and requirements of using collaborative plotting, the system presents a tree structure. The structure has high flexibility and adapt to different sized groups. And by the introduction of the range of data sharing, a variety of different sharing requirements from different users can be meted.Data maintaining is the basic requirement of consistency collaborative editing systems. This thesis presents the "local coherence" model, and gives the concurrency control strategies.Conflicts of collaborative scene which may happen when concurrent editing is on analysis and research, putting forward the conflict detection and approach for corresponding. In summary, through collaborative editing system as the background scene, on which several key issues are studied. The system can also be applied to achieve other similar CSCW systems.
