This paper mainly introduce the concept and developing condition of the remote monitoring of on—off put and discuss the photo electricity seclusion technology in the field of on-off monitoring, RS-485 Serial Communications Interface technology and Modbus Communications Protocol's theory and application.The on—off monitoring system's core is STC89C52 monolithic microprocessor which is the monitoring system's main control board, status indication main board,control board,developed the single chip processing program and industrial computer's monitoring system, achieved the goal of collecting 32 road on-off's signal, controlling the 16 road on-off's signal, collecting and judging the two roads'temperature and performing corresponding operation. The module adopts the RS-485 communication interface,ModBus-RTU communication protocol,the transmission speed is 1200bps~115200bps and can be set flexibly. Through the configuration software, the personal computer can achieve the goal of remote monitoring of on—off.This systems is operated in the good communicated,low-pressure system and the operation is in a good way. It is very stable and the working voltage's range is broad. The monitoring software's function are all-side,its operation is simple, the human machine interaction interface is good. It achieved the anticipated designment requirements.
